Joseph Backholm is the Executive Director of the Family Policy Institute of Washington, the state associate for Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council, and the Alliance Defense Fund. The FPIW advocates for family friendly public policy throughout Washington State. Prior to joining FPIW, he worked as staff counsel in the Washington State Senate. Joseph received his Bachelors from the University of Washington and his law degree from Seattle University. Born and raised in Aberdeen, Washington, Joseph and his wife Brook live with their three daughters in Brier.
