The Northshore School District in Bothell, WA, is hosting “a special conversation on gender diversity in our schools” on January 12th, 2017.

The school district will be featuring transgender activist Aiden Key, who now identifies as a male, for the event.  There is no indication that an alternative perspective will be featured.

Similar presentations in other area school districts have encouraged parents and students to embrace the idea that there are an infinite number of genders, that anatomy has no bearing on gender, and that any boundaries based on anatomy in schools are forms of bullying.

The Snohomish County School District paid Aiden Key $14,000 in 2016 for a variety of “trainings” in the school district.

Parents have reached out to us at FPIW wanting to connect with other parents in the district who are also concerned about the issue.

If you would like to be connected with other concerned parents in the Northshore School District to discuss this event with district administrators and/or request a balanced presentation of the topic, please reach out to us at info@fpiw.org so we can connect you with other concerned families in the district.
